Marketing Manager

Innovative and growing Quincy, MA based Web Content Management software vendor PaperThin Inc. (www.paperthin.com) is looking for an experienced, results-oriented Marketing Manager to help drive the company’s Marketing initiatives for continued growth.

Reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the Marketing Manager will play a critical role in securing PaperThin’s position as the leader in Web Content Management. To expand PaperThin’s brand recognition and assist the company in reaching its revenue goals, the Marketing Manager will plan, implement, manage, and measure PaperThin’s corporate marketing and communications programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce press releases, case studies, white papers, and advertisements 
  • Development of product, service, and corporate data sheets and press kits
  • Manage PaperThin website properties, author content, and ensure sites are kept up to date with the latest press releases, news clippings, job openings, training sessions, and marketing information
  • Write, coordinate, and design PaperThin’s monthly customer and partner newsletters and quarterly prospect newsletter.
  • Promote white papers and Web seminars with ad placements and newsletter sponsorships within targeted industry vertical and CMS publications 
  • Design graphics and work with graphic design consultant to improve look and feel of all PaperThin electronic and printed properties
  • Produce media reprints and corporate signage to further company image and brand
  • Identify and target editorial and award opportunities 
  • Work with public relations firm and manage/coordinate analyst relations.
  • Write and manage customer and partner communications (i.e. surveys, trainings, announcements, etc.)
  • Manage vendor relations
  • Manage product launch plan and execute associated activities

Sales Lead Generation Management

  • Develop and implement “high-touch” programs to ensure that PaperThin remains top-of-mind with prospects 
  • Manage Google Ad campaigns and search engine optimization program to drive traffic to PaperThin website
  • Ensure that all leads from programs are properly imported into Salesforce.com with the appropriate lead sources
  • Ensure that all leads are followed up in a timely manner by PaperThin regional reps or a PaperThin Solution Partner
  • Analyze lead flow through sales pipeline to optimize marketing program effectiveness
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales/marketing reports that detail lead activity, lead source, lead status, opportunity pipeline, and other statistics organized by region, vertical market, and by PaperThin Solution Partner
  • Coordinate customer references to ensure that the needs of customers, PaperThin public relations, and PaperThin Sales reps are met

Requirements:

  • Minimum or 4-7 years experience and a proven track record of successfully implementing marketing programs that achieved lead generation goals, expanded brand, and secured market position within highly competitive industries.
  • Knowledge of and practical experience with Web Development or Content Management is strongly preferred
  • Excellent problem solving skills in a fast-paced, results-orientated, technical environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • BA or BS degree, MBA preferred
  • Technological Proficiencies in the following
    • Salesforce.com, Marketo, Adobe Creative Suite ~ (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Google Analytics, Microsoft Office, and HTML
