Why Choose CommonSpot?

Web Content Delivered When And How You Want It

CommonSpot’s robust XML framework enables organizations to deliver Web content to consumers--when and how they want it--helping organizations maximize the delivery, value, and timeliness of the content they create.  Using CommonSpot, organizations can:

  • Present content through any delivery channel
CommonSpot’s XML framework gives your organization endless ways to deliver content beyond the Web.  For every page you create, CommonSpot builds an XML schema giving you complete flexibility to present any type of content (TV, radio, satellite, Internet) via any content delivery channel (Web, streaming media, mobile phone, iPod) at any time (on demand or in real time).

  • XML Feeds
Syndicating newly introduced content is as simple as adding content to a page, tagging the content with custom metadata (such as ‘press release’ or ‘webcast’) and creating an RSS feed in one simple step. Users can then create a dynamic list of all newly syndicated feeds enabling visitors to quickly subscribe to new feeds of interest. The listing is automatically generated, displayed, and updated on the feed index page based on filtered custom metadata criteria (such as owner, creation date, and other keywords such as ‘New”) as specified by the user.  The list of feeds can then be re-used thoughout the site by simply placing a custom element on each page where you would like the list to appear and pulling the information onto those page using custom metadata.  You can also tag feed lists against a common taxonomy, giving your organization endless ways to introduce, present, syndicate and re-use newly introduced content—and no coding is required making your organization more agile so you can react to organizational changes, such as adding new lines of business, as they arise.
