Owen: Responsive Website Showcases Faculty Academic Prestige To Recruit New Students
A PaperThin customer since 2004, Vanderbilt University was founded in 1873 by Commodore Cornelius Vanderbilt and currently enrolls more than 11,000 undergraduate and graduate students throughout its ten schools, including law, medicine, education, divinity and management. The combination of cutting-edge research, liberal arts and a distinguished medical center creates an invigorating atmosphere where students tailor their education to meet their goals and researchers collaborate to solve complex problems related to health, culture, society and commerce.
An independent and privately supported university with more than 2,500 faculty, Vanderbilt is located a mile and a half from downtown Nashville on a park-like campus that was designated a national arboretum in 1988.
In 1969, the Owen Graduate School of Management opened its doors to ten students and ten faculty members in a former funeral home. Today, Owen is one of the world’s top business schools. Accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), Owen is widely recognized for its challenging academics, stimulating and innovative research environment, strong student/faculty ratio and a spirit of teamwork. The school was renamed in 1977 in honor of Lulu and Ralph "Peck" Owen, former chairman of American Express. The school offers full-time MBA, Health Care MBA, Executive MBA, Master of Science in Finance, Masters of Accountancy, Masters of Management in Health Care, PhD, and Executive Development programs.
The Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management uses CommonSpot Cloud to manage its responsive website, which features a faculty profile directory that includes faculty videos and published research. It showcases the academic prestige of the faculty to show prospective Owen students that they will learn from among the world’s best and in the process build relationships that last a lifetime.
