Founded in 1994, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars is an honors organization recognizing outstanding academic achievement among first- and second-year college students. It encourages the development of leadership skills through community service, grants scholarships, and offers many other opportunities to its members like local chapter activities, national scholarships, job and internship opportunities, and service trips.
